With more than 10 years of experience in the international development sector combined with a formative early career as a veterinarian practitioner in Europe, I evolved into a highly versatile professional with the mission to advocate for One Health approaches. My expertise combines veterinary medicine as well as agronomic development sciences anchored in animal sciences. I have experience in impact assessment, inclusive value chains development or in supporting decision-makers towards sustainable food system. Among other, I am currently leading the ZoNoH project, to support Kenyan organisations to better manage zoonotic diseases in their food system and to mainstream the adoption of one health adopting tools such as the One Health Rapid Assessment.
My experiences lie mainly in Egypt and North Africa, west Africa Sahelian context (Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso), east Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Burundi) and South-East Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Bangladesh). I worked with a range of organisations from the private sector (Danone, Friesland Campina), NGOs (CARE, SNV), governments (Kenyan zoonotic disease unit, Egyptian cooperatives, Ministry of livestock from Bangladesh) or knowledge institutes (CIRAD).
