Investing in Research Equipment
Wageningen University & Research continuously invests in research equipment and facilities for innovative research. Shared Research Facilities offer opportunities to invest in advanced research equipment together with organisations outside WUR. This makes the purchase of state-of-the-art research equipment both feasible and affordable. The shared use hereby guarantees optimum utilisation of the capacity.
Are you looking for possibilities for (joint) purchasing and/or investing in a research equipment? Shared Research facilities would be happy to discuss this with you.
Investing for verifiable impact
During a meeting, we will examine whether your application qualifies for joint investment. For example, it is important that investments contribute to connections or cooperation with WUR and have a demonstrable impact on the innovation themes Circular Agriculture, Nutrition & Health or Protein Transition.
When investments are made through Shared Research facilities as part of WUR, SRF becomes the owner of the equipment. The equipment can be placed at a location within or outside WUR and will be made available via SRF for shared use in accordance with the 'pay-per-use' principle.
Would you like to talk about your options?
Please feel free to contact us so we can discuss the possibilities for joint investment in advanced research equipment.
