Specialisation Quality Management and Entrepreneurship

In the first year of your Master programme you are expected to take 60 credits (European Credits or ECTS). There are three types of courses: compulsory courses (cs), restricted optionals (RO) and electives. The specialization Quality Management and Entrepeneurship typically contains 5 compulsory courses, 2 restricted optionals and 3 electives.

*This course can be replaced by an elective, in case of sufficient background knowledge. In case of you have a technical background, you take the course Management and Marketing instead.

Second year
The second year consists of an individual thesis project (minimum 36 ECTS) and an internship (minimum 24 ECTS). The topics of the thesis and internship has to be within the scope of the specialization. The thesis is carried out at Wageningen University. The internship is always outside Wageningen University and can be in any country, at a university, a company or an institute. Thesis topics and internship supervision for this specialization are offered by the Food Quality and Design group.
