Entry Requirements The following requirement are needed to start a PhD at Wageningen University & Research (WUR): Required documents Before a PhD candidate can start with the PhD project the registration in Hora Finita must be completed and the candidate has to be officially admitted to the PhD programme. The registration starts with the chair group informing the Graduate School about the prospective PhD candidate. The Graduate School will start the registration in Hora Finita. During this registration process the PhD candidate needs to upload the required documents as indicated below. Funding & Financial Support Once admitted to the PhD programme Wageningen University & Research (WUR) offers an education backpack of 3500 EUR to PhD candidates that are formally admitted to the PhD programme (approved TSP and Project proposal in prep or approved) and will defend their thesis at Wageningen University & Research.
