Inclusive recruitment and selection
Diverse teams are generally more creative and innovative. To create a diverse team you need to be intentional about diversity and inclusion in your recruitment and selection procedure. This can be quite tricky, because subconsciously our biases play a big role when we look for new talent. So how do you make sure your job vacancy appeals to a diverse group of people? And how can you select a candidate as objectively as possible?
Why take this course?
In this course, we will take a closer look at the application procedure and offer you tools to take a more inclusive approach to various aspects of the procedure. Think, for example, of profiling your organisation, posting your vacancy, and objectively selecting a candidate.
We will get to work on our own biases. How do you see the world? And how does this affect an application procedure?
You will also learn how to write an inclusive vacancy text: how do you make your text accessible and understandable to a diverse group of people?
