Different activities are organised every week. They range from debates and lectures to art projects and sports events.

People can hire rooms for meetings or other appointments. Impulse is a great place to meet with a business associate or simply have a cup of coffee with colleagues. In short: the focus is on getting together.

The best ideas develop when people meet and inspire each other in a relaxed atmosphere. It sparks their creativity. Impulse can accommodate a wide range of events that set the creative processes in motion. So wander in and let your creative juices flow.

Something for everyone

Impulse, opened in september 2012, is a Wageningen UR initiative. Having said this, it does not only provide a platform for scientists, lecturers and students. Policy-makers, entrepreneurs and interested citizens are also welcome to attend the programmes or even initiate events themselves. Bringing together people with knowledge of very different disciplines leads to new and exciting ideas. Linking knowledge to industry leads to innovation.

People can either meet in an informal setting with a drink and a bite to eat, or at a well-organised brainstorm session or sports event. Practically anything is possible and Impulse always tries to provide a widely varied programme.

Collaborating with the region

Wherever possible, Impulse uses regional suppliers. The Peeze coffee comes from Arnhem, the cakes and pastries from ROC RijnIJssel, the wine is supplied by Wijnhandel Woudenberg.
