Entrepreneurship education
Bringing knowledge to value is the motivation of many entrepreneurial Wageningen students. WU offers a BSc minor and an MSc track to further develop your entrepreneurial mind-set during your studies. In addition, all students (BSc, MSc and PhD) can take separate courses and the StartHub offers extra-curricular courses and activities.
Student Startups
To entrepreneurial students and recent graduates, WUR offers information on starting a business, incubator facilities and an extensive network of experts and research institutions to collaborate on an idea or concept. But is the idea really yours in order to market? Who decides what happens to your internship or project result? With whom to share profits, if any? In other words, who owns the intellectual property rights (IPR)?
Minor Entrepreneurship and Innovation
The BSc Minor Innovation and Entrepreneurship focuses on the value of knowledge, innovation and entrepreneurship in life sciences, environmental sciences and agriculture. Students will become familiar with the interplay between the production of science and technology and the commercialisation of academic knowledge and design.
Master track Entrepreneurship
How about the entrepreneur (or intrapreneur) in you? Opportunity identification? Entrepreneurial self-efficacy? Getting out of the building? Put your knowledge into action, valorise your ideas, develop an entrepreneurial mind-set, and try to make a difference. Explore and develop “entrepreneurialism” for creating new products, services or processes, and/or stimulating entrepreneurship within existing organizations. Release the entrepreneurial spirit from the bottle by embedding the MSc Track Entrepreneurship into your MSc program.

StartHub Wageningen
StartHub Wageningen is the startup incubator and educator for students, PhD’s and recent graduates of Wageningen University & Research. Our core focus is development of entrepreneurial competences of students and student entrepreneurs.
