We are currently seeking a positive and organised individual to join our team, as one of our colleagues will be retiring. If you enjoy planning, creating structure and administrating, and have an interest in student wellbeing, we would love to hear from you!
About our team
Team Student Life, Wellbeing & Inclusion organises training sessions, masterclasses, and activities to improve mental wellbeing and inclusion. The team manages the Annual Introduction Days and a welcome program for international students. The team also works on policies related to student life and social safety, and collaborates with student organisations, WUR departments, and external partners like the Municipality of Wageningen and Idealis.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Serve as a point of contact for coaches, trainers, and students
- Create and maintain an overview/dashboard of deadlines, activities, outcomes
- Scheduling training and other sessions, ensuring smooth execution
- Overview of registrations and cancelations. Book training rooms and locations
- Keeping records of other team activities, such as expenses
- Carrying out management-supporting, control-related, and administrative tasks
Your qualities
- Organisational, administration and planning skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- A proactive communicator with a flexible mindset
- Very good command of the Dutch and English language
- MBO+ work and think level (or starter position Higher Education)

In addition to these first-rate employee benefits, you will of course receive a fair salary. Depending on your experience, we offer a competitive gross salary of between € 3218, - and € 4298, - for a full-time working week of 38 hours, in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreements for Dutch Universities (CAO-NU) (scale 8). We offer a contract for 28 hours a week. As for your contract, we initially offer a one-year contract that can be extended - if possible, within (company) organizational circumstances - on good performance. Coming from abroad
WUR welcomes applications from international candidates. However, for applicants for this specific position from outside the EU/EFTA zone, immigration restrictions may apply based on Dutch and EU immigration laws. Such candidates may be eligible for an “orientation year” in the Netherlands or a visa as a “knowledge migrant”.
