Quality Officer

What will you do?
In this role, you will closely collaborate with the Quality Assurance Coordinator to address key compliance issues within the organization. As a Quality Officer, you will be proactively involved in quality management systems, environmental legislation, exemptions, and the Nagoya regulation. You will be part of the R&C team, consisting of driven and engaged colleagues. You will have one main point of contact and can count on support. Once a month, you will attend the R&C meeting and the shared lunch. This is a temporary position for 6 months, for which we are looking for a candidate in the short term.
Your main tasks:
- Coordinating questions regarding the Nagoya legislation and implementing the associated process.
- Maintaining relevant quality systems together with the team.
- Co-responsible for conducting internal (lab) audits.
- Assisting with questions related to our exemption for importing soil and Q-organisms.
- Providing administrative support to the Quality Assurance Coordinator.
Your qualities
- You have a BSc degree
- You are able to empathize with employees' situations and work with them to find pragmatic solutions.
- You are organizational and communicative (both oral and written) skills are strong.
- Additionally, you are enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, and seek connections with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with (lab) audits is a plus.
- Experience with ISO 9001/14001 standards is a plus.
- You can read and speak Dutch at B2 level
- You are available in the short term.
