Are you an experienced HR professional and do you have the ambition to play an important role in further shaping and implementing HR services? Then we are looking for you!

In the role of HR Business Partner within the HR team of the Corporate Staff, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise and thus contribute to the development of our integrated HR policy. You work closely with management and you advise and support the various staff departments in the implementation of their HR agenda. Together with your colleagues from the Center of Expertise (CoE), you will give substance to the strategy and tactics of Recruitment, Vital & Health and Learning & Development. You will be given the space to guide change, develop talent and promote a collaborative work culture. 

Your tasks and responsibilities as an HR Business Partner are:

  • sparring partner and advisor for managers at organizational development and team case level;
  • giving substance to the HR agenda and (co-)responsibility for the successful implementation of HR policy;
  • thinking along and taking an active role in the development and implementation of strategic personnel plans and organisational issues;
  • participate in various HR projects. For example, in the field of Leadership, Organizational Design, Diversity & Inclusion, Social Safety or Recognition & Rewards.
Your team
You will work together with our driven HR team that consists of 3 (part-time) HR Business Partners and - including HR Support and CoE colleagues - is about 8 people. Collaboration is an important value within our HR team.  As a team, we think it is important that you want to put your shoulders to the wheel together and help build the further professionalization of our services.
In total, about 900 colleagues work at Corporate Staff, spread over seven departments (Communicatie & Marketing, Education & Student Affairs, Finance & Control, Corporate Governance & Legal Services, Human Resources, Strategy & Accounts, Value Creation).

Your qualities

You are curious and enterprising, which means that you are well informed and can proactively give appropriate advice. Through your advisory skills, empathy and persuasiveness, you know how to create support and initiate change.

You also have:

  • At least a completed relevant college education;
  • extensive experience as an HR Business Partner or HR advisor;
  • good command of the Dutch and English language.

Of course, these excellent fringe benefits also include an appropriate salary. Depending on your experience, we offer a competitive salary of a minimum of € 3,224 to a maximum of € 5,273 for a full working week of 36 hours in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Wageningen Research (scale 10). We offer you a contract between 24 and 28 hours. As for your contract, we initially offer a one-year contract that can be extended - if possible within (company) organizational circumstances - on good performance. / We offer you a temporary contract for the duration of one year.
