Access to ABI/Inform and Zoological Record discontinued
As of 1 January 2025, WUR staff and students will no longer have access to the ABI/Inform and Zoological Record databases. You can read more about this Library subscription choice and alternative resources in this news article.
Changing research themes
WUR's demand for cost savings and effective use of library budgets has prompted the Library to look more closely at low-used databases. Over several years now, both ABI/Inform and Zoological Record continue to show decreasing and low usage statistics. This indicates that these databases no longer fit well within the changing university's research themes. By reallocating financial resources, the library can continue to offer more frequently used citation and literature databases.
