Library facilities
The facilities in Forum Library include computers and WiFi, multifunctional printers, individual study places, group study rooms, office supplies.
Computers & monitors
At WUR using your own laptop (Bring Your Own Device, BYOD) is the standard in education and for self-study. There are external monitors available you can connect to your laptop to to help you work ergonomically. You can use the Library computer's monitor as a second monitor or simply mirror and enlarge your laptop's display. Please note that you need to bring your own adapter/cable.
There are 20 desktop computers available for students on the second floor in the Forum Library. Guest computers with internet connection are available on the second floor of the Library.
For more information on laptop services visit this webpage: Studying Anytime Anyplace laptop, software and service - WUR.
Wireless SSID EDUROAM
Connect to the Wageningen University & Research Wireless network SSID "eduroam" using your WUR logon data. If you are an employee of an Eduroam participating university or institute, you can use your full institutional email address and -password to logon to the Eduroam wireless network.
With Eduraom Visitor Access (EVA) visitors can get temporary access to the wireless network of Wageningen University & Research. For more information on Eduroam please read these instructions. With an Eduroam connection you are able to access the digital library's resources. Please note that some databases, even on campus, are not available for guests.
Printing and Copying
Multifunctional copiers are available for scanning, printing and copying. These multifunctionals use the 'eWallet', a payment system that has been integrated into the WUR card, which all students and employees have. A manual for printing, copying and scanning is available on the right side of this page.
- Students can add credit on their eWallet to print, to scan or to copy.
- Employees can use the multifunctionals free of charge when using their WUR card.
- Without a WUR-card and WUR account it is not possible to use the multifunctionals. This means that unfortunately, visitors and students who do not (yet) have a WUR card cannot print or scan documents.
