Word from the Board
Dear all,
With this Summer edition 2024, we have published the eleventh edition of WIAS Magazine and thereby completed the third year of the magazine’s existence.
The very first edition was published on November 15, 2021, which already feels like a long time ago! The first two years (2021-2022 and 2022-2023) we turned into beautiful printed versions of the magazine combining all four seasons within each year.
It has been quite the ride, with each new cycle an endeavour to fill the magazine with interesting articles. We were fortunate enough to always succeed thanks to the many inspiring contributions from WIAS PhD’s, postdocs and others.
Sadly, the eleventh edition of the WIAS magazine will be the last one due to a lack of new board members to carry on with the magazine. We want to thank all the readers, and authors who contributed articles, it has been a pleasure!
