Thesis Topics: Voor een masterthesis zijn projecten op het vlak van de volgende onderwerpen (of gerelateerd) meer dan welkom:

- Governance Failures: how do local governments/civic initiatives fail (and revive) to reach desired outcomes?
- Smart shrinkage/challenged rurality's: How can (or cannot - see above) rural areas future-proof, and adapt to challenges such as population decline, changing landscape demands (for agriculture or energy production), in smart, adaptive and socially sustainable ways?
- Community-led planning: How do local communities govern their living environment, in relation to other more formal forms of governance?
