A new logo for the Wageningen Seed Science Centre!

The members of the WSSC pushed their creativity forward and combined efforts to generate a new logo for the team.

More than 15 different logos were created by the WSSC members. After two rounds of voting incorporation of suggestions, the logo created by the PhD student Asif Ahmed Sami was selected.

'This logo represents the seed germination process, where a seedling emerges from a seed coat. The seedling hypocotyl represents a DNA molecule.'

This logo reflects two of the major research branches of the WSSC: Seed physiology and molecular biology.
