Your job

Student psychologists at WUR play a crucial role in student well-being. Are you the coach who supports and guides the team of student psychologists? If so, read on!

We are looking for an inspiring teamlead for a temporary position to coach our team on an individual, team, and content level. During this year, we will explore the possibility of functioning as a self-managing team with a shared long-term vision and goals. After this year, the team operates from a collective approach, where everyone has a voice and is heard. There is room for individual expertise, but replaceability is essential. Tasks and responsibilities are clear, and we aim for efficient use of fte and resources, with accountability to each other and the organization.

We collaborate with other teams within Student Service Centre (such as student deans and student training & support) and the WUR organization (policy department, study programs). This position involves the following:

As a team lead:

  • You have individual and team Human Resource responsibility;
  • You will create clarity regarding content, tasks, and processes and therefore ensuring peace within the team. Additionally, you will foster a strong team spirit and good collaborative relationships with colleagues within and outside Student Service Centre;
  • You will stay informed about current professional and political developments that may influence the team's way of working. You enjoy following such developments and working with the team to explore what they mean for their own processes and services;
  • Together with the team, you will explore which form of management and support best suits the team. You will also examine whether it is possible to evolve into a self-managing team.
