    International Genetic and Genomic Evaluations in Beef Cattle.

    The aim of my PhD thesis is to provide a reliable and efficient system to improve genomic evaluations across countries. The project is divided in 4 objectives:

    1. Impact of data sub-setting strategies for variance component estiamtion in Interbeef International Genetic Evaluations.

    2. Implementation of an International Genomic Evaluations System for Beef cattle

    3. Integration of international data (IGEBV) at national level

    4. Investigation of International Genomic Evaluations feasibility for difficult-to-measure and low heritability traits.
