Lenneke van Bussel obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Health at Wageningen University, in 2013, and her Master of Science degree in Management, Economics and Consumer studies (specialization: Consumer studies) at Wageningen University, in 2016.
In 2017-2023, Lenneke worked as a PhD candidate on the topic of healthy and sustainable diets, from a consumer perspective. She studied the taste profiles of diets high and low on sustainability and health, the consumer perceptions of food-related sustainability, and potential facilitators and barriers to sustainable food consumption.
Currently, Lenneke is working a researcher at Wageningen Food and Biobased research, in the Food Consumer Behaviour group. She will mainly focus on children and adolescents to stimulate healthy and sustainable food consumption and/or environments.
