Outplanting golfball corals in Burger's Zoo
Researchers from Marine Animal Ecology went to Burger's Zoo in Arnhem to outplant some of our lab reared golfball corals! Golfball corals are Caribbean corals, so they find a logical new home in the Mangrove area of the zoo. Diederik Padmos, Robbert-Jan Geertsma and Britt van Herpen joined the staff of Burger's Zoo to make sure the corals settled in nicely. Now, you can visit the corals yourself during your next trip to the zoo!
