Europese netwerk van visserijontwikkeling adviseurs (EFDAN)
The project is aimed at structurally supporting the Dutch contribution with regard to international European Fisheries Policy, including the external dimension / fisheries agreements, and promoting coherence of that policy within the EU. The Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality is a member of the EFDAN (European Fisheries Development Advisors Network). Every year the meeting takes place in one of the EFDAN member states. WUR-WMR has specific international knowledge and experience with regard to the fish sector and this knowledge is used functionally, building on international knowledge networks.
The project consists of preparing the content of the WMR contribution and attending the EFDAN meeting that is held every year for two days as well as facilitating the EFDAN website.
