Project
DOMINANTS
A joint initiative has been launched between WFSR (food and feed safety), WBVR (veterinary) and RIVM (public health). The aim of this initiative is to strengthen collaboration, exchange and enhance knowledge and expertise on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) research. The project will involve three PhD’s, one at each institute, working on a joint subject: the distribution and transmission of AMR plasmids in a One Health setting. The PhD candidate associated with WBVR will focus on studying the genetics of (fluoro)quinolones (FQ) and polymyxins (colistin) resistance mechanisms.
