Lunch concert Julia van Holst - Neoclassical piano music

Julia ‘R.’ van Holst (b. 2002) is a neoclassical hobby pianist and composer, alongside her master’s degree in biology at WUR. Her music is mostly inspired by nature, but also by fantasy books. Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi inspired her to improvise on the piano, and over the years she developed her own style in which she weaves the undulating nature. She is currently working on a series of Spotify albums of songs played at home on her digital piano. She also enjoys doing live improvisation behind public pianos.
