This course consists of two parts and takes place over the period 24 March -- 27 June 2025.

The first part focuses on Digitalization for Sustainability Management. You will join Master's students over the course of four weeks in the period 24 March - 18 April 2025. Each week consists of a two-hour lecture (Tuesdays, optionally online) and half a day of group work on challenges raised by global leaders in business and sustainability. Topics covered include:
  • How to implement a people analytics strategy (24 -- 28 March)
  • Sustainable technology and new sustainable business models (31 March -- 4 April)
  • Organising the firm for a sustainable digital transformation (7 -- 11 April)
  • Sustainable leadership practices: The care and growth model (14 -- 18 April)
The second part focuses on Circular Economy Strategies and Implementation Approaches, and takes place on the WUR Campus on 28 -- 30 June 2025. Topics covered include:
  • Foundations of circular economy: introduction, key concepts and systems-based approach
  • Circular economy in practice: applications and implications for firms
  • Enabling and sustaining circular economy: designing circular cities, sustainable lifestyles, and barriers and enablers to circular economy adoption
