Applications are now open to join African Food Fellowship cohort 5

We are recruiting 80 food systems leaders in Kenya and Rwanda to join the African Food Fellowship, 40 for each country. We provide world-class training, platforms, and networks to spark collaborative action for healthy, inclusive, and sustainable food systems.

Apply before 25 April 2025 to become a fellow and join us on this remarkable journey towards a thriving and resilient food ecosystem in Africa!

Rwanda

In Rwanda, we're seeking applicants committed to any of these impactful areas:

  • Healthy and Nutritious Food
  • Climate Smart Agriculture
  • Inclusive Markets and Trade

Kenya

In Kenya, we’re looking for applications from individuals engaged in:

  • Horticulture for Inclusive Markets
  • Blue Economy for Food
  • Agri-finance

Eligibility criteria are as follows. You should be:

  • A legal resident of Rwanda or Kenya (non-nationals are also eligible);
  • 45 years of age or younger;
  • Proficient enough in the English language to follow the programme; and
  • Willing and able to commit an average of 4 hours / week.

The programme is subject to a participation fee of 1.000 US dollars, to be paid in two instalments. We offer limited scholarships to Fellows who cannot raise the full fee. We encourage and support participants to seek organisational scholarships.
