Research challenges

The Water Quality team developes new ways of multi-pollutant modelling of water quality in watersystems worldwide, by using existing modelling approaches for individual pollutants. The combined models with their corresponding pollutants are:

• Global NEWS (nutrients)
• MARINA model (nutrients)
• NUFER (nutrients)
• Antibiotics model (antibiotics)
• Macro- and micro-plastics model (plastics)
• Triclosan model (triclosan)
• GloWPa (pathogens)
