Project

OneHealth surveillance

The project wants to enhance the remote disclosure of decentralized genomic data resources for foodborne pathogens, facilitating an environment for optimal sharing and integration of One-Health surveillance. The primary goal is to develop scripts and tools for establishing standardized Resource Description Framework (RDF) endpoints, enabling the storage and sharing of genomic data using the integrated Rule-Oriented Data System (iRODS) framework. Additionally, using SPARQL will facilitate the creation of queries to search the data and associated metadata, allowing for the quick disclosure of this information for further downstream analyses. Close collaboration between Wageningen Bioveterinary Research (WBVR) and Wageningen Food Safety Research (WFSR) will enable the swift application of knowledge and experience to enhance sharing needs and optimize the use of the infrastructure.
