Low-cost porometer

A porometer is an instrument that measures stomatal conductance via the rate of water vapor diffusion out of a leaf. Porometers are relatively expensive instruments, but in principle, they can simply be built with low-cost humidity sensors. This project seeks to build, calibrate and validate a low cost porometer for use in future research projects. Duties would include growing plants, calibration with following standard procedures and physiological equations, and making comparisons with commercially available porometers.
