Unsalaried position at the Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences as a guest professor, Chair Group of Translational Neurosciences at the University of Antwerp from 1 April 2024 up and until 31 March 2027 (2nd extension - first extension was from 2021-2024)||As an unsalaried guest professor, I am currently involved in biomarker studies in neurodegenerative disease that involve collaborations between Wageningen University and the University of Antwerp-Neurobiobank of the Institute Born-Bunge. This is within the domain of nutrition and lifestyle as mediators of brain health. One example is the current NWO-KIC project, entitled Nano-Chemical Biomarkers of Molecular Mechanisms and Nutritional Factors in Cognitive Ageing and Neurodegeneration (NanoNU-Marker).
