SPARK is an international NGO and implements programmes relevant to the provision of scholarships, entrepreneurship/business development and de-radicalisation. The scholarship provision programme aims to prepare (soon 10.000) refugees for a job in the host community they reside in and entails activities relevant to selection, scholarships management, student services activities, as well as extra curriculum activities. The entrepreneurship/SME growth programmes entail activities such as coaching and mentoring growth oriented SMEs, provide access to finance & markets, and start-up support for aspiring entrepreneurs. Spark’s mission is to offer access to higher education and support entrepreneurship development in fragile states so that young, ambitious people can lead their societies into stability and prosperity.||Members of the Supervisory Board have affinity with the portfolio and mission of SPARKS as it is their main responsibility to guard this mission. The Supervisory Board monitors the performance of the Board of Directors and gives advice on and approves the overall policy and strategy. This includes approval of the Annual Plan, Annual Budget, Annual Accounts and the Annual Report. At least 4 meetings are held each year. Spark
