Education - dr. SA (Sjoukje) Osinga

Sjoukje has been teaching nearly 20 former courses within the range of the Information Technology Group. Currently, she is teacher-coordinator of Applied Information Technology, a course mainly followed by Business and Consumer students. This course is also part of the minor Quantified Self, in which Sjoukje is involved as well, also in its specialization course. Agent-Based Modelling is a course close to her research interests. She designed an introductory course in R programming for Health and Nutrition students in 2019, of which she is teacher-coordinator. She is a regular teacher of the introductory course Programming in Python.

She co-developed the MOOC 'Big Data for Agri-Food: Principles and Tools', which was launched for the first time in March 2022. It is on EdX: https://learning.edx.org/course/course-v1:WageningenX+DRAGONx+3T2021/home

Sjoukje obtained her University Teaching Qualification (UTQ) in January 2016.
