  - For the next 4 years, I will be responsible for developing a new and harmonized risk assessment scheme for the approval of low-risk pesticides (LRP), within the EU.
  - This research project falls under the RATION - Risk AssessmenT InnOvatioN for low-risk pesticides research project, which aims to relax the regulatory constraints hampering the full potential and market reach out of LRP.
  - The categories of LRP include (i) plant extracts, (ii) semiochemicals like pheromones and allelochemicals, (iii) microbial pesticides and new microbial solutions (phages, protists, microbial consortia) and (iv) ds-RNA pesticides.
