Education - dr.ir. CR (Cathelijne) Stoof

Master education: in 2021 I launched the Master course Pyrogeography, an inter- and transdisciplinary course on integrated fire management for students from across the environmental and social sciences. Working with Simone Bennett, a multimedia artist, the capstone project of the course is a real-world exercise in which small groups of students use their creativity to give their stakeholder client new insight into their challenge. Pyrogeography is taught every January (period 3) and is also open to students outside Wageningen University. From the academic year 2024/2025 onwards this course is called Integrated Fire Management. 

Students interested in doing a Master thesis or internship related to integrated fire management are advised to follow this course prior to their thesis or internship.
