At the end of May, twenty colleagues from six Indonesian Universities visited Hasselt University and Wageningen University in the context of the Erasmus+ ECoGREEN project.

This project aims to establish a sustainable and green campus platform that facilitates collaboration in education and research among Indonesian and European partners to address sustainability challenges in Indonesia. During their visit, different speakers shared their perspective on entrepreneurial and green
education, and how to make sustainable impact by collaborating with the
industry. As such, colleagues from society-based learning, WUR challenges, the
Starthub (Corporate Value Creation) and Friesland Campina shared their
experiences. Next to that, the team visited Unilever to learn more about
collaborations between WUR and Unilever at the campus. Our own chair, Perry den
Brok, shared insights on how to innovate education. In September, a bootcamp
will be organized in Hasselt, followed by a hackathon in December in Indonesia.
During these events, students from all participating universities will learn
more about sustainable entrepreneurship in an interdisciplinary and
transdisciplinary setting.
