Symposium
International Rhodobacter Symposium 2025
The second international Rhodobacter Symposium follows after a successful first edition. We would like to again bring together the scientific community working with the intriguing purple bacteria such as Rhodobacter (Cereibacter) sphaeroides. It will be an informal symposium centered around different topics related to their physiology and applications in biotechnology.
Preliminary programme
The symposium will only have plenary sessions that go into various important aspects of purple bacterial applications and physiology. The scientific committee is in the process of contacting Keynote speakers and a call for submission of abstracts will be launched shortly. Information about the programme will follow as soon as it becomes available.
The symposium will focus on the following topics:
- Purple bacteria biotechnology
- Genetic tools
- Microbial physiology
Registration
The registration portal will be available February 2025.
