What makes us sound attractive? We start the series Love & Sex with the role of the voice in intimate relationships.
About The Voice of Love and Attraction
What role does our voice play in attraction, seduction and intimacy? And to what extent is how you speak a given? Tonight, we explore these questions with voice trainer Elizabeth Ebbink. Drawing from her experience in singing, theatre and psychology, she guides us along different dimensions of the voice, and associated psychological factors, that play a role in how we come across. What are for instance the effects of speaking pace, pauses and melody? Analysing examples of well-known voices, Elizabeth sheds light on the role of the voice in intimate relationships. In an engaging manner, she invites you to expand your repertoire. Marvel at the startling impact of the voice!
