WIMEK research fellowships

2024, second call

WIMEK invites you to submit WIMEK research fellowship applications, starting in 2024 (maximum one application per chair holder). Applications for this second call should be sent to the WIMEK secretariat before 10 May 2024, 23:59 hrs. Priority will be given to applicants that did not receive a grant in the first round.

The application form (word file), the Curriculum Vitae and a publication list of the candidate should be mailed to the WIMEK secretariat: Johan.Feenstra@wur.nl.

2024, first call

WIMEK invites you to submit WIMEK research fellowship applications, starting in 2024 (maximum one application per chair holder). Applications for the first call should be sent to the WIMEK secretariat before 30 November 2023, 12:00 hrs.

There are 3 research fellowship categories:
A. Senior grants for international top scientists in a specific research area for a period of 2-4 weeks (often as part of a profiling workshop or conference).
B. Senior grants with the duration of 1-3 months of €1.800 per month plus a contribution to travel costs of max. €1.000 (based on expected real costs).
C. Junior grants with a duration of 1-3 months of €1.500 per month plus a contribution to travel costs of max. €1.000 (based on real costs).

2023, first call

WIMEK senior staff members are invited to submit WIMEK research fellowship applications, starting in 2023 (maximum one application per chair holder). The applications for the first call should be sent to the WIMEK secretariat before 30 November 2022, 12:00 hrs.
The deadline for applications for the second call is 12 May 2023 (if there is still budget left).

2022, third call

WIMEK senior staff members are invited to submit WIMEK research fellowship applications, starting in 2022. The applications for the third call should be sent to the WIMEK secretariat (first come, first serve, for 3-4 remaining WIMEK research fellowships starting in 2022).
