Wageningen Aquaculture, Research & Education (W-ARE)
At Wageningen University & Research (WUR), over a hundred researchers work on aquaculture, both in fundamental and in applied research. This includes scientific knowledge and expertise on fish nutrition and health, breeding and aquaculture systems, as well as on shellfish and algae. Wageningen Aquaculture Research & Education (W-ARE) is a joint initiative to provide an easily accessible online portal for our expertise, facilities and education. Above all, W-ARE stands for the shared ambition of Wageningen University and its Research centres to work on sustainable aquaculture.
