Update 25 October 2024: Because of the fire on Thursday evening 24 October, the Forum Library will remain closed today through Wednesday 31 October. Special Collections will be closed up until Friday.

Regular opening hours

The regular opening hours of Forum Library are:

  • Monday- Friday: 08.00 - 22.00
  • Saturday - Sunday: 10.00 - 18.00

Please take notice that after 19.00 and during the weekends you can only access the Forum building and the Library with a valid WURcard.

Book depot (stacks)

In general, publications requested before 14.50 hrs (on working days only), can be picked up the same day. You will receive an email when the item is available for you on the reservation shelves. You have seven days to pick up the requested item. Books for WUR staff will be sent to their office). More info on Borrowing see here.

    Opening hours exam periods

    The Forum Library has extended opening hours during the study and exam weeks. Check the Library homepage for the exact dates per period.

    • Monday- Thursday: 08.00 - 23.00
    • Friday: 08.00 - 22.00
    • Saturday - Sunday: 09.00 - 19.00
