This report contains supplementary technical documentation on the recreation model AVANAR, version 2.0.AVANAR is an abbreviation of the Dutch study on ‘Reconciling supply of & demand for nature as recreationalspace’. This report was set out to gain the A-status with respect to modelling. A short description is given inthis report together with more information on those features that have not been described earlier or only in afragmented manner. As for the latter, technical details described elsewhere have been brought together,several new tests of version 2.0 of the model are reported and earlier validation studies have beensummarized.
