Samenvatting

Leveraging circular strategies to halve ecological footprints and improve biodiversity: Methodological framework Few studies have been conducted on the impact of circular strategies on biodiversity. The overall purpose of this study is to describe a framework of methodologies for understanding the ecological footprints and biodiversity impacts of Dutch consumption in order to determine the potential of circular strategies to reduce existing footprints. The framework is applied to the construction industry, the cotton value chain, and the transition of the protein value chain from animal-based to plant-based proteins in Dutch diets. These case studies and the results are described in separate reports.
