Analyse eerste tranche provinciale programma’s Uitvoeringsprogramma Natuur

Samenvatting

As part of the Dutch nature policy implementation programme Uitvoeringsprogramma Natuur the provinces in the Netherlands have stated how they will use the available funds for the first implementation period (2021–2023). This report provides an analyses of the 12 regional programmes. The analysis shows that the total budget for the first period is approximately 659 million euros. The provinces have allocated most of the resources to improving the quality of existing natural areas (including forest revitalisation) and buffer zones, including corridors between nature areas, and improving hydrological conditions in existing nature areas. This report is a background study to the Third Reflexive Evaluation of the Nature Pact.
