Moses Adjei is a postoctoral researcher, at the Environmental Policy Group (ENP). He works on two EU funded projects: PERMAGOV which aims at improving the performance of EU marine governance and Blue4All which aims at developing tools (economic, social and governance and financial) for effective and efficient marine protected area (MPA) management.  

Before joining Wageningen University, Moses worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. He contributed to the co-development of a methodology for tracking the onshore benefits of lobster fisheries to coastal communities in Atlantic Canada.

His research focuses on marine and coastal governance, small-scale fisheries livelihood and wellbeing, and gender and women studies. His research has been published in journals such as ocean and coastal management, the extractive industries and society, gender, place and culture, maritime studies, coastal management, among others.
