dr.ir. C (Koos) Gardebroek
Universitair hoofddocentDr. ir. Cornelis Gardebroek is an associate professor in Agricultural Economics and Rural Policy at Wageningen University. His research and teaching focus on applied econometric analyses of the agricultural sector, with applications in the field of markets and prices, technology adoption, and risk and uncertainty. He has over 50 publications in Web of Science and published in the major agricultural economics journals including the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, European Review of Agricultural Economics, Journal of Agricultural Economics, Land Economics, Agricultural Systems, and Agricultural Economics. Moreover, he received four scientific awards for his publications.
His courses Econometrics (AEP21306) and Advanced Econometrics (AEP33806) have received multiple awards by Wageningen University for excellence in teaching. He organized various PhD summer courses in Advanced Econometrics (Panel data, spatial econometrics, GMM, Maximum Entropy Econometrics).
He is a member of the International Agricultural Trade Research Consortium (IATRC) and an editorial board member of the Agricultural and Resource Economics Review.
