In discussions with the laying hen sector and other experts, insight has been gained into the consequences of the (partial) loss of subsidies for salmonella vaccination. Will vaccination rates and costs for the sector change? Most (rearing) laying hen farmers will probably continue to vaccinate against salmonella, at least against S.e. Some of the determining factors are IKB Ei obligations and the risks of economic losses.
