The National Open Science Festival will take place on Tuesday 22 October at Maastricht University. You can also attend the Barcamp on Monday 21 October, organised by the Dutch network of Open Science Communities (OSC-NL. Registration is currently closed due to high demand. More spots will be released soon; please join the waiting list through the registration portal.

Meet, share, inspire, care

This Open Science Festival will provide new insights and, more importantly, practical tools you can use to make your research more open. You can meet peers from WUR and other universities and institutions who are already working openly or who are interested in doing so. Key to the day is sharing knowledge and best practices.

Programme

The day will be full of interactive sessions, an information market, and plenty of opportunities to mingle and meet. Participation, including lunch and dinner, is free of charge. Sessions will vary in level, including sessions for those who simply want to know more about the different aspects of Open Science and its drivers and barriers.

Barcamp

On Monday 21 October, the bottom up network of Open Science Communities (OSC-NL) organises the Open Science Barcamp. The Barcamp unites Open Science novices and experts in an 'unconference' format, fostering lively discussions, idea development, and knowledge exchange. With no set speakers, participants actively explore shared interests together.

Registration

You can register for both events on the same platform, using one account. However, it is also possible to attend just one of the events. Registration is presently closed due to high demand. Additional spots will be released later; you can join the waiting list through the registration portal. If you have already registered, you can make changes to your registration via the portal.
