CineScience: Her

The Human Wai: What is a human, what does ‘humane’ mean, what defines humanity? Answering any of these questions is pretty hard enough as it is, but now we have a new kid on the block; Artificial Intelligence. Ask an AI what it means to be human and we get the following: Being human means experiencing emotions, forming connections, and seeking meaning in life. It involves the ability to think critically, express creativity, and adapt to challenges. Above all, it is about empathy, morality, and the continuous pursuit of understanding ourselves and the world around us.

In the movie 'Her' we see a human forming connections with an AI, an AI who is creative, empathetic, morally sound, emotional and seemingly human. Come join this evening and be amazed by the capabilities of the AI-models of today.
