WDCC News Q2: Data Management
The 2nd WUR Data Monitor was sent out at the beginning of May. This series of surveys is a follow up on the first WUR Data monitor in 2020. The WUR Data Monitor was sent out to research groups, PhD candidates and corresponding authors of WUR publications. The goal of the series of surveys is to monitor good research data management practices at WUR and measure compliance with WUR data policy. The results of the current monitor will be compiled over the summer and reported back to the Executive Board and Science Groups in the Autumn.
What is the vision of WUR for the FAIR principles? What are the goals and what do we need to reach them? The answer to these questions are currently taking form within the Open Science and Education Programme Plan, where FAIR Data is a programme line under the leadership of WDCC.
