Choice for Urban Environmental Management

"During my Bachelor’s I was already focussed on environmental issues in the urban environment and I learned about climate change and pressure on food, water and energy resources. Urban Environmental Management was a logical choice because this program offers a solution based view on these subjects. I wanted to learn more about the (new) technologies that supply people in the cities with energy, water and food. This was possible in my specialization Urban Environmental Technology and Management. In Wageningen a lot of notice is taken to develop academic and professional skills. In the first year, together with other students, you work on an assignment for an external client and in the second year there is an internship."

Experiences with Urban Environmental Management

"The Master’s program Urban Environmental Managements agrees well with my prior education; the same subjects are discussed. Additionally, the Master’s provides more profoundness and knowledge about technological solutions. There are a lot of international students in Wageningen and in my Master’s. It is interesting to work together with students from different backgrounds."
