Student Lianne de Bie - MSc Earth and Environment
Lianne de Bie started her master Earth and Environment after graduating from a dutch university of applied science. She is enjoying every second of studying and studentlife in Wageningen!
I liked the minor in Wageningen so much i wanted to study here!
‘Before I started this master I studied at Van Hall Larenstein in Velp, a university of applied science in the Netherlands. During my study ‘Land and water management’ I did several internships for employers in the Netherlands and graduated in the major Hydrology. As part of my graduation I followed a minor at Wageningen University.
This minor also functioned as a pre-master. It was a set of courses which i composed in agreement with the study advisor of Earth and Environment. During the minor I liked Wageningen University so much that I decided to also follow a master programme here!
The first year of my master went by in a blink. I have learned so much and had even more fun. The courses are very interesting, there is a lot free choice and you have amazing excursions (for instance Spain and Iceland)! Besides thtat the atmosphere and studentlife in Wageningen is very nice. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world!’
