Lumpy skin disease

The Lumpy skin disease virus is caused by a pox virus of the genus Capripox virus. The genus Capripox virus, has three virus affecting ruminants: the sheep pox, the goat pox and the lumpy skin disease. Wageningen Bioveterinary Research conducts research on this disease.
